AutoWallis has created a position for Chief Financial Officer, as the executive workload related to financial coordination is expected to increase significantly due to the recent business developments and acquisitions. Starting with October 1, the position will be held by Attila Seres, who has acquired considerable experience at large international and Hungarian enterprises.
Attila Seres has been appointed to the newly created position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at AutoWallis Plc., after the company had announced six acquisitions and business developments this year, which will significantly increase the management tasks related to finances. (The relevant business developments and acquisitions are as follows: acquisition of the largest Hungarian Opel and KIA dealership; beginning the distribution of Jaguar and Land Rover models in Hungary; the planned takeover of the largest Slovenian BMW dealership; equity investment in Iniciál Autóház, a major company of the Western Hungarian region involved in the sales and servicing of seven significant vehicle brands; and the acquisition of the importer rights of Opel in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia, and finally in Hungary as well.)
Attila Seres has 20 years of financial and more than 10 years of senior management experience and comes to AutoWallis from the position of Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Scitec Group, a food supplement producer company. The professional has earned a master’s degree in economics at the University of Debrecen, then went on to work in executive positions at General Electric (1999–2006, Commercial Finance Manager), Magyar Telekom (2006-2008, Head of Business Controlling), and Graphisoft Group (2008-2014, Global CFOO). He was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Scitec Kft. in 2014, where he became Chief Executive Officer in 2019.
